At Checkmate Community Incorporated, we are proud to join forces with the City of Fort Worth and the local Homeowners Associations (HOAs) to bring our neighborhoods closer together through the annual National Night Out event. National Night Out is a nationwide initiative that began in 1984 with a simple yet powerful goal: to promote safer, more connected communities by fostering relationships between neighbors and local law enforcement.

National Night Out provides an opportunity for residents to come together in a positive and welcoming environment, where they can engage with one another and with the officers who serve their communities. This event is about more than just fun activities; it’s about building trust, understanding, and collaboration between the community and the police, which are essential components for a safe and vibrant neighborhood.

In partnership with the City of Fort Worth, Checkmate Community is committed to strengthening these bonds by facilitating meaningful interactions between residents and the officers on duty in our neighborhoods. By doing so, we hope to create an atmosphere of mutual respect and cooperation, where everyone feels heard, valued, and safe.

Through events like National Night Out, we are working to break down barriers, bridge gaps, and create a unified community that stands together in the face of challenges. We encourage everyone to join us in this important endeavor, as we strive to make our neighborhoods not just places to live, but places where we truly connect and thrive.

Together, with the support of the City of Fort Worth and our local HOAs, we are making a difference—one block, one neighborhood, one community at a time.
