Business Etiquette
​At Checkmate Community, we are committed to teaching kids more than just how to start a business—we're preparing them to become leaders who understand the value of exceptional service and professionalism. Our business etiquette program focuses on helping young entrepreneurs learn how to treat their customers with respect and care, ensuring that they not only provide quality products and services but also create lasting relationships with their clientele. Through hands-on workshops, role-playing exercises, and mentorship, we teach kids how to communicate effectively, handle customer concerns, and build a reputation based on trust and integrity. These lessons will not only set them up for success in business but also empower them to be thoughtful and responsible leaders in their communities.

Finding Your Niche: Creative Customz
At Checkmate Community, one of the key projects we teach our young entrepreneurs is how to find their niche in business. We guide them through the process of discovering their unique talents and interests, and how to turn that into a successful venture. For example, our “Creative Customz” project allows kids to explore personalization by creating custom products like t-shirts, mugs, and accessories. Through this hands-on experience, they learn how to find their business name, develop a brand, and connect with their target audience.
