Our mission is to break the chain of generational trauma by equipping both youth and their families with the tools and opportunities to thrive.

At Checkmate Community, we recognize that lasting change happens when families grow together. In addition to providing youth with entrepreneurial training, mentorship, and business experience, we also support families by offering life skills workshops, job training, mental health counseling, and homeownership education. We aim to empower parents with better job opportunities, teach them how to purchase homes, and even guide them toward becoming real estate agents.
