Meet The Team

Duties: The Board Chair leads the board in governance and oversight. They set the agenda for board meetings, facilitate discussions, and ensure that the board's decisions align with the organization's mission. The Chair also represents the organization at public events and is a key liaison between the board and the executive director.

Duties: The Vice Chair supports the Board Chair and may step in to lead meetings or represent the organization if the Chair is unavailable. They often take on special projects or focus on specific areas like strategic planning or board development.

Duties: Executive Director manages and oversees the day-to-day operations, implementing policies, and managing the organization's strategic direction. They report to the Board of Directors and work closely with the board to fulfill the organization's mission and vision. This position would also ensure that the organization remains compliant with legal and financial regulations.

Duties: The Treasurer oversees the financial health of the organization. They work closely with the financial team to review budgets, financial reports, and audits. The Treasurer also ensures that funds are used effectively and that financial policies are in place and followed.

Duties: The Fundraising Chair leads efforts to secure funding for the organization. This includes developing fundraising strategies, overseeing donor relations, and coordinating events or campaigns to raise money. They work closely with the board and staff to meet financial goals.

Duties: The Secretary is responsible for maintaining accurate records of board meetings, including minutes, attendance, and votes. They ensure that board members have access to necessary documents and that records are kept in compliance with legal requirements.

Duties: This role focuses on the content and effectiveness of the entrepreneurship programs offered to kids. They ensure that programs are relevant, well-structured, and align with the organization’s mission. The Program Development Chair also works with educators and community partners to enhance program offerings.

Duties: The Community Outreach Chair works to build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders, including parents, schools, and local businesses. They ensure that the community is engaged and supportive of the organization’s mission and activities.

Duties: The Governance Chair focuses on board member recruitment, training, and evaluation. They ensure that the board is functioning effectively and that members are fulfilling their roles. This role also involves reviewing and updating bylaws and governance policies.
